WORSHIP IS THE "W" TO DO

“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today’” (Matthew 6:31-34 NLT).

If we worry, we are not experiencing the love of God as we should. That is plain and simple. Worship and worry are mutually exclusive. When we worry, we have forgotten how much God loves us. Worry is acting atheistically. Love this I read…”worrying is pretending you are an orphan rather than a child of God.”

We have read over and over these verses in Matthew where Jesus tells us point blank not to worry. It is pretty simple...when I stop and think about it…but I still worry. Jesus just simply says:

SEEK THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS PRIORITY # 1 ABOVE ALL….

LIVE RIGHTEOUSLY

Two simple steps and He gives us everything we need

God created us

God loves us

God wants what is best for us

God is watching over us

God is working for our good and has many promises of His faithfulness.

Worrying is pretending everything I just wrote doesn’t matter. Now I know some of you think that anyway....LOL…

We/I have to condition our self/myself to change our/my responses. When things come that may cause worry…immediately choose that other W. WORSHIP. It can be in prayer, in song, in diving into service to others.

We have choices:

WORSHIP or worry

PRAY or panic

LOOK TO GOD or look at the problems!!!

“God offers real respite that refreshes the spirit and calms the soul despite the surrounding bedlam”
