“The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.” PROVERBS 11: 25

Usually, the hardest part of any worthwhile endeavor is getting started or taking that first step. But once we get started, we realize how fulfilling it was and always wonder why we hesitated. The same goes for personal evangelism. Once we get started, and once God starts speaking through us, it can be one of the most joyful things you have ever done. To think that God Almighty would speak through someone like me is a great privilege. It is an honor to tell others about Jesus and share Him with everyone.

The gospel is not to be hoarded. It is to be shared with all. I am blessed to be a blessing. As I receive it in, I need to give it out to others and so others can come into a relationship with God. The greatest joy I have is knowing the Lord. The next greatest joy is having the privilege to pray with someone to accept Christ. Once we become of the share mindset, we will see a visibly radical change in our life. Provers 11: 25 says “Those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.” It is refreshing to share.

The choice is to evangelize or fossilize. We are all called to evangelize in our own little place and time. I have always said the best place to start is in the beginning with that first step. We can reach the world one person at a time.

Matthew 28: 19 is our great command and we can go into OUR world to do so. It can be your workplace, your family, your friends and spheres of influence. There are people who will listen to what you say. Go to that world. The world to which God has called you is waiting.

“Your words are the most powerful force you have—for good or for bad—using them to share God is good!”
