GOD’S Bob April 25, 2021
We know of the many promises God makes to us in the Word. He has and does fulfill every one of them. Jesus also takes about the Kingdom of God quite often. In the Gospels alone, kingdom appears almost 120 times. The kingdom is both the opportunity to experience God’s love and a future promised not yet realized.
Luke 17: 21 says “nor will people say, ‘Here it is.’ Or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.” In Revelation 21: 5 the Lord promises He will make all things new….” He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." We are taught to pray, “Your kingdom come.” Matt. 6: 10 “your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. He reassures us that ours is the kingdom of heaven.
God’s kingdom is much more than a place. It is His reign over all throughout time and eternity. God promises us He is present.
God promises He is working to redeem us to Himself.
God promises He wants to draw each of us closer to Him.
God promises a future with Him that He is calling us to.
ONE DAY HIS WORK IN US WILL BE COMPLETE AND WE WILL STAND BEFORE HIM RENEWED.
