DEVELOP GOOD HABITS
“But Peter and the apostles replied, 'We must obey God rather than any human authority.'” Acts 5: 29
When I am trained people at work or worked out in exercise, I always drill down on the REPS or repetitions. Continuous reps are conditioning that muscle or your brain to develop good habits by conditioning that “muscle” to react to a certain stimulus. We need to develop a habit of prayer!
Daniel was a great example of the habit of prayer. He did it every day and when they outlawed it, well, he just did it more. If faced with the same dilemma would we do the same? Would we be so full of reps and reps of prayers that we could not and would not bow to some edict saying we could not pray publicly?
Good habits, in this case, prayer, are the types of habits we seek to establish.
Sow a thought, reap an act.
Sow an act (REP), reap a habit
Sow a habit, reap a destiny.
I want to develop a habit of prayer. I want to be considered a man of prayer.
WE SHOULD BE PEOPLE OF PRAYER…..A HABIT, A GREAT ONE LIKE PRAYER….CAN BECOME OUR LEGACY
“Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.” Vince Lombardi
